Limited Edition Baybayin Mother "Nanay Ina" Crewneck by LeLe Chan
This design is a collaboration with LeLe Chan, a local artist and fine line and calligraphy tattoo artist. It was inspired by the Indigenous culture of the Philippines. This design is a tribute to motherhood and each element has a special significance:
👑 The crown is an expression that every mama is a queen, strong and courageous. The rays signify the light, inspired by the rays' of the Philippine sun.
🤰The Ling-Ling-O is an ancient Igorot symbol, dating back to 500-1000AD, for fertility and resembles the womb.
📜 The handwritten script is an ancient Baybayin inscription for Ina and Nanay, which translates into mother.
Material: Locally screen-printed on 50/50 combed ringspun cotton/polyester.
